ASTM F436
F436 is a ASTM International specification for hardened steel washers. Hardened steel washers of this specification range from 1/4" through 4" and are intended for general-purpose mechanical and structural use. They are suitable for use with A325 and A490 structural bolts. Also used with fasteners covered in A325, A354, A449 and A490. These are available from stock in both plain and hot-dipped galvanized. Most engineers specify these washers to be used with all types and strengths of anchor bolts.
